The Heated Classic Gloves will have pretty much the same specs as "The Ultimate" but with no Carbon Fiber Protection but they have a thin layer of Thinsulate and Porelle® Breathable "Waterproof" Membrane.

• Closed cell foam protective pads all over
• Kevlar Reinforced Protection in Palm

That's very odd, what model and problems did you have? When did you buy them?

The rider classic pair. First pair were less than a year old. One glove just quit working. They replaced them with a second pair. This pair is over a year old and one glove gets a hot spot when on and burns the back of my hand.

Wow! You have had bad luck. Very odd.

Return them to where you bought them. They shouldn't have a hot spot
 They have a 3 year warranty.
