I'm told it only shows up that way to addresses in Kansas.
Can anyone confirm that?

Can anyone confirm that? Nope, it's showing as Topeka here... In honor of Topeka changing it's name to Google, Google has decided to change it's name to Topeka...

Couldn't possibly be Hoser's doings. As he says in all his posts, he's from Toepicker.

Google does something like this each year on April 1st. Plus Google is going to outfit 5 cites/towns in the USA for gigabyte Ethernet. Each locale has to apply. Topeka is in the running and renamed itself to Google for a month as part of there campaign to Google.
Topeka, Kansas is now...Google, Kansas! City leaders issued a February proclamation making the symbolic name change for the month of March 2010. The attention-grabbing stunt did grab headlines, but its ability to sway Google remains unclear or is it?

" Finally, we want to be clear that this initiative is a one-shot deal that will have no bearing on which municipalities are chosen to participate in our experimental ultra-high-speed broadband project, to which Google, Kansas has been just one of many communities to apply.
