When is the last time you checked the dampers in the rear wheel, maybe they are worn enough to create slack.

I would inspect the U-Joint, all rear drive splines and rear wheel dampeners.

Last time did that it ended up being the pinion joint and drive shaft. But all other mentioned could be the problem.

Well I  guess it's time to pull the rear wheel! I might as well order a new Cooper Zeon while I am at it! Thanks!!!

i can see out of the left eye, but it is still askew, no parallel line vertical or horizontal and distance is real screwy. Like the early '70 !
