Because of some stuff that also involves a thing that also brings more stuff with it today was going to be my FIRST ride of the year.....However not 6 miles from my house I thought I felt a small "pop" from the right and rear of Boomer.Hmmm says me was it real or not. So I continue on and yep there it was again. Back to the man cave to check things out. I have just put new tires front and back and have never had any assembly problems before. Now I'm wondering if I torqued things in the proper sequence or forgot something.......Remember there has been stuff happening.
I took everything apart and all looks as it should.....OH NO only one more thing to check...UNIVERSAL JOINT!!! Damn I hate taking that thing out.
Sure as I sit here the universal joint has an ever so slight movement in it that tells me I made a good catch and saved lots of trouble down the road.  cooldude I also happen to be the proud owner of a new joint that is ready to be implanted in Boomer.  Grin

Mileage for the year so far = 16.4

16.4 / 3 = 5.5667 per month x 12 = 65.6 means those new tires will probably last 182.926 years.

Glad to see you "riding" again Det.  cooldude

Glad you caught it, Mark.

The good news is your average can only go up from here.   Smiley

Mark You are so good to Boomer.

But I understand I have four little ones to care for.

Honda Valk.  New Tire Installed today, motorcycle specific.

Harley, New Tire installed , Motorcycle Specific.

Kawasaki Mean Streak , New Tire Installed , Motorcycle Specific

KlR 650 needs nothing , don't ride it too often and then it just gets super mileage.

No Car Tires installed.

Happy as pie and a slice of cake can make you.

God Bless you son, I sure miss riding wiht you.

It won't be long.

Destined to do more rides with you ole Boy.

Oh Yeah my Interstate has the same exhaust set up you do , just a little shorter though.

Sounds real good.

It's the Motorcycle tire that really makes it so enjoyable though.

Boomer is my Friend and I love her.....  2funny After hiding what seemed like 6000 eggs Sunday for the Grandkids I took her for a little ride. I realized I wasn't very comfy in an undescrbable area but pressed on for 71 miles.

I agree Al it's been to long and I miss riding with you guys as well. Fear not The Detn8er will return.  cooldude cooldude cooldude

 Cool Cool Cool

Looking forward to a CHimney Rock run or over to the Highlands of North Carolina.

Hang in there son like  a ten pound bugger.

That's a big booger.
