Well since my buddy wrecked his black and red standard, he’s looking for a burgundy and black I/S.  actually, I’d love to have that color scheme myself, but I don’t think my wife would let me sell the cycle I’ve got now…..

Anyone know were there might be one?

It’s for Nitrojunkie.

dp you mean the reverse red and black of the 01 interstate?

Hotrod has one but I am sure he aint sellin at the moment

Those are some of the rarest Valks out there.  May be easier just to get the paint codes and paint a black interstate.

Did they total Karsten's bike out?

I have one!  Oh wait, I put a sidecar on it, and it is not for sale.  One just sold on the delphi Valkyrie forum board about a week ago.

They come up once in a while.

I tried for over 3 months, gave up, and bought hosers black IS.  It was not 3 days before the 2001 red/black came up for sale.

So, I bought that, and sold hosers black IS.

It is the rarest US model, with only 160 being made.

Oss,  it's looking as though they're going to total it out.  both the dealer and the apraiser think so.  we'll know by monday.

T-Bird,  saw that one in milwaukee!  Karsten showed it to me.  problem is, it's already been deleted!

Melvin, if you were a good friend, you'd sell it to him!!  Wink

Maybe you can loan him a cycle for our superior trip!  I’m sure his wife would love the side car!!
Got any pictures of the sidecar yet?
BTY, still haven’t been approved vacation time for July either!

I have a red & black '99, what do you mean by "reverse"?  Are they really that rare?  160 seems hard to believe.

Ferris:
The red and black are kind of in the opposite positions, that is why sometimes they are called "reverse".  It is also Cheyenne Pearl Red, more of a burgandy than the red in the 99 red/black.

The productions numbers come from valkyrienorway site.  The rarest is the 80 bronze ones for export only. Then the 2001 red/black.  Then the 2001 silver.  Not near as many made of anything in 01, is why numbers low.  Last year of IS production.

Thanks, that is a really pretty combo.  Might have to do that when I am ready for a repaint.

I was surprised to find out that my Blue & Silver was one of only 500 made.  It's pretty neat to own a such a rare bike.  I love this bike more and more everyday.
