I had my rims polished and stripped the shock bolt on the differental during reinstall. How do I find out what thread is in the diff. I think I can use a helicoil if I can get the right size.

It might sound simple, but don't you have the shock bolt?  I think they are 14mm on the hub side.  I checked it out on the parts list at hondapartsnation.com

Larry, the size of the wrench you use is not the bolt size.  I looked at the parts fiche on hdl yesterday but it didn't list the size.

The shock bolt that screws into the final drive is an 8 x 1.25 thread.  It has a 14mm shoulder on it, but the threaded portion is 8 x 1.25.
