Anyone know what happened to the info for buying the quick release pins for the "TBR Quick Bag Removal"? I decided to finally do the mod and now it doesn't show where to get the pins.

I do not think TBR makes anything for the Valk anymore.  Try rattlebars.com.  I believe he still makes some.

Rattlebars is waiting for enough people to sign up before producing a run.   Angry  I signed up, but still a ways to go to fifteen total people.

My understanding was all the kit had was the pins and a drill bit.  You drilled out the female threads on the supports and then insert the push/lock pins.  Does anyone know if this is right. If it is I think I know whee to order the pins through my business. I would be happy to check on ordering the pins.

Sounds like the Zeus fasteners used on air craft in WW II.

Harley uses this system on the Electra Glide Side bags.

Works fantastic.

There is a seat pin mod for the VTX that uses the quick release ball pins, that can be obtained from Home Depot or McMaster-Carr.....   On the seat pin mod, we had to drill out the threads on the bracket as well.

If you know what length and diameter you need... you can order it here....

I am on the waiting list also.  We need to get some more VRCC members to sign up to get the kits in production.  Hint, Hint.

I bought bolts with knobs on them.  They may not be as fast as the pins but no tools needed and no mods needed.  I think they were about .80 a piece from MSC.

Are these pins or quick release mounts the ones that help to remove the bags ,mounting brackets and all ? I had seen a while back where some one had researched buying all the hardware at a pretty good price from a hardware supplier ,none motorcycle related. I would be interested in this, especially if my trailer hitch came off also.

Wow those push pins are expensive from McMaster Carr. I'm surprised. I'll keep hoping more people sign up for the $60 version from Rattlebars.
