Worked an accident on I-64 today. Truck driver, his wife and child burned to death, driver of a car involved died during extraction and another driver transported to the hospital in extremely serious condition. 4 DOA's and 1 more possible. Truck driver was ejected and set the woods on fire. 3 cars and 1 semi involved. Traffic backed up 10 miles in each direction. Sometimes this job sux...........    Sad

Thanks for doing what you can Brian. You do make a difference.
If it were not for Commercial enforcement companies would be driving junk. and forcing drivers to work far to many hours.
Hopefully CSA 2010 will weed out some of the bad ones.

Brian, I don't know how to put into words what I feel, but is is serving with compassion and respect for the families involved that the good Lord has you where you are. I only met you once, but you left an impression on me that if it were me at the scene, I could count on you to do what needs to be done, and do it right. I will be praying for you Brian, as I know how devastating your job can be.

These kind of days suck for sure and it seems you have had your share of them. You continue to be in my prayers and may tomorrow be one of those days that make you proud to be who you are and what you do!! JDW

Brian,

I don’t know you, but from what I can tell I’m pretty sure that you’ve been there to save a few right?

Those are the ones you’ve got to think of.

It’s like fishing, you never know how big the one that got away was, so don’t dwell on it.  Be proud of the ones you’ve got.
