Al, anyone that knows you will have read your recent posts and been tolerant. If they know you and have not been tolerant then f' 'em.

Getting off the juice plus having your heart  problem are enough to make anyone cranky.

Cherohala Skyway was beautiful yesterday with two small patches of snow next to the road. Dragon is closed.

Greasy Creek Rd down to Hwy 64 across the Hiawassee River was 90% gravel free. I've never seen Greasy Creek so full in the past 8 years.

Hey Al I want to thank Joe for introducing me to you. I remember the first time we rode together. I had a bottle of jim with me and you called me a sipper. I think it was more than a sip as we passed the bottle back and forth. Glad you are still sober as I am also. Have you noticed than some people ain't much fun since we quit drinking Grin Hang in there my friend, hope to see you soon.

There are only good things that come from Japan. they make some of the best things in the

free world. We use to be the ones people bought from, sad to see that go.

Now most things we make are exported from a bomber and are filled with TNT.

NO jihad is a good way to say the truce is on dude, car tires are OK for all if they

want one.

Yes Popcorn miss you old boy, take care of your self and see you soon.

Remember my foriegn made bikes, out number my so called american made bikes three to one.

So feel comfortable with the Harley Jokes around me cause that's OK by me.

Harley has earned every joke we tell on them.

But I still like to hear my Harley Roar , just like my Mean Streak roar, and my Valkyrie has it's

own brand of roar.

A gold Wing is looking better and better as I get older.

Thing is like a sport bike and cruiser in one.

Rockin in the rockin chair today , still feeling the Versaed they gave me to knock me out yesterday morning.

Looking for yet another desease caused by working where I have for 29 years.

When we were zooming back from Gettysburg on 81, you were several bikes in front of me.
I liked hearing your Harley roar when you cracked the throttle too... as soon as I figured
out what the heck that sound was, anyway  Smiley ...

Al, Al, Al, all this time around the VRCC and you still haven't learned the the Valkyrie is an American made bike?

Stay sober;  get that heart taken care of; and readjust the listen to speak ratio just a bit.   Wink

Yes thanks for reminding me Willow, I had that on my mind when writing the previous.

But how does that go I am confused.

Japanese company with an American built bike.(Valkyrie)

A American made bike with japanese parts.(Harley)

Valkyrie and Harley are both American made with other worldly made parts.

I am seeing something some of you probably have already figured out, these two companies are

closer to being one and the same than we care to believe.

If Harley had been marketing the Valkyrie as they have many Italian bikes(albeit unsuccessful) they have owned.

the outcome of the Monster they call the Valkyrie would have maybe been different.

We will never know,,,, they are marketing geniuses selling partially American made bikes to Americans, claiming

to be American made and all, I repeat all of their clothes are made in China.

They are simply selling a life style.

Honda tried this ,with , You meet the nicest people on a Honda, it is hard to sale a bad boy image

with a slogan like that. And bad boy image, just like sex appeal sells and sells.

And what about the Honda Chopper the Fury , that was really a late bloomer.

Whoever decided to go ahead with that blunder should be questioned for sanity.

Where have all the jobs gone is now an oxymoronic statement.

As life gets longer for me it becomes more strange to me everyday.

Just like the last election cycle for President, it was a cult of personality and rock star ism.

Next time will be different....... I hope.

Willie Nelson for President I say

And for the record Chrome, I said Jap Bike,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not Jap Crap.

Metric bike is the PC term for Japanese Motorcycles or European as well.

Raised up on a Jap Bike and will be riding their products for as long as I can invision.

Right there with yah , and even love Canadians too.

Speaking of Canadians

Has anyone seen PIBIT lately?

We haven't actually "seen" him, but we spoke to him when he registered for InZane.  He seemed to be alive and well.

Be safe, Al.  Stay clean.  Stay strong.  Get healed.

Not been keeping up with the board too much. So what's with the ole ticker? Had some serious issues 2.5 years ago. Was put on some drugs then decided to go all natural. I use Hawthorne Berry to control atrial fibrilation. And glad to see your still sober. Took the oath to follow Christ in 76 and been mostly sober since. Hasn't always been easy, and backslide is in my vocabulary. But staying clean is the better option. Here's praying for you.

Sounds Intrigueing to go to a Inzane, seeing as how I have not been to the premier Valkyrie

Event.

Let's see how the Surgery goes and work form there.

May 12th at 0545 hrs. is the date and time of the Surgery.

A comment was made in one of the posts about Meds.

The hawthorne thing I believe.

Thanks for all the ecouragement ya'll have given me.

Walked right through the Beer Eisle today and did not even flinch.

Prayer works.

The Plavix I was taking just about did me in.

Allergic to it and my Doctors all said it was in my head.

Good bunch they are.

I quit the Drug and four days later I had a 800 lb. weight lifted from my chest.

A month later still feeling some effects of the Plavix.

14% of all people cannot tolerate Plavix.

I am living proof, it almost got me and I had to take myself off the drug against orders.

thanks
