Let's see, it has been 80 degrees this week and sunny. Yesterday was in the 60s, not as sunny. Today is just above freezing and threatening to drop freezing rain or sleet on us. Great.
A friend turned to me yesterday and was explaining how baffled by the weather he was. He said that in the past week we had had winter, summer, spring, and fall weather all within the span of one week. Perhaps we had.
The 80 degree day was nearly 30 degrees above the record high for that day.
Oh well.
The commute isn't that long. I can make it to work. I've got my sweater vest on to keep me warm.
I can keep riding. It is going to rain on and off all weekend. Next week will be nicer. I'll just keep riding toward that nicer weather around the bend.
I'm going to pick up a nice warm lunch. As I'm finishing breakfast I am already thinking ahead to how great a nice warm lunch is going to be. I have to have a plan. I'm thinking Grilled Cheese with Bacon today. I get them to put it on whole wheat 9 grain bread to make it healthier. They also throw a tomatoe in between the slices of cheese, healthier, but tolerable because the cheese completely hides the tomatoe taste. It is the perferct sandwich to warm your toes on a rainy late winter day.
I had gotten used to talking about the spring like weather. Today is deffinately a reminder that we are still in late winter. Low to Near 40s for the high. Cold Rain.
