Take two minutes before a ride.

Helmet , Gloves, Appropriate Jacket, Boots, you don't wear boots you gotta be kiddin.

Saved a Broken Ankle for me more than once.

Can't ride with a broken ankle , ruins fun for weeks.

Two minutes is all it takes to be safe. Gear on.

Walk around the bike, look for leaks, low tires, loose controls or sticking controls.

Lights on , turn siganals working, Brake Lights, High and low beam.

Oil Levels OK, Coolant if needed.

This takes literally two minutes or less.

Correct mental attitude, the next mile you ride is the most dangerous.

Mirrors adjusted.

Hear a noise don't look down at it, stop safely and check it, off the road.

Be safe and ride into old Age.

Not like this fellow.

LOL, he panicked & backed off the throttle while it was sideways, RPM dropped and the tire quit slipping.

Experience - That thing you get when you don't get what you want.

Usaully do a burn out just before replacing a tire with something sturdy in front of me.

About the only time I do one is a tire that is whipped.

Why waste rubber that is good .

unfortunately, i see too much of that race video out on the streets.
they don't have the gear or experience to do that on a race track, but try it on the streets.
