Did the paint & CC on my b'wing myself last fall. Took a little over a month for the cover not to stick to the b'wing. Been fine till this morning. It was stuck and now I have alot more fabric marks. Time to get the steel wool, wax, and scratch remover. Is there a way to not have this happen? Marks dont bother me to bad since it will be covered with bugs most of the time. Its just annoying.

Wow!! Your clear coat must be seriously soft. Is it possible the base and clear coats aren't compatible?

The clear coar on basecoat/ clearcoat systems require the proper reducer as it reacts chemically to harden. It is the chemical reaction and not the air drying like in lacquer and enamel that causes the clear coat to harden.

If no hardner used, it will NOT harden. You will need to redo, I believe.

Arg! Funny thing is that bug, rocks, and my finger nails wont even leave a mark in the cc. Covers was on the bike from dec to yesterday without a problem. Even been washed a time or 2. Hmmm....
