While conducting inspection one morning, I entered the quarters of a young enlisted man.  His room was spotless, but I knew something wasn’t right.    Then I noticed his pants were cuffed, not hanging straight as service regulations demand.  “Airman,” I snapped, “have you decided to change the Air Force dress code?”  “No sir.” He replied.  “My mother did.  She thought the uniform looked better this way.”            Col.
