Well I had planned for a weekend helping my son landscape his yard, but he decided he needed to play golf on Saturday and wife was shopping with son's wife..........so..."road trip" Smiley

Still snow on top of Mt. Mitchell, NC and the pines smelled sooooooo good

The temps where in the 60's and not a cloud in the sky  cooldude

Asheville,NC watershead in the background

pic's are not the best...only had my phone to take these with... about 300 mi. round trip

rock hill sc-lake lure nc-black mountain nc-old fort nc-hwy80&brp nc-mmsp nc-marion nc-shelby nc-rock hill sc

The brp was open from hwy 80 south to hwy 70 for sure but closed going north from hwy 80??
trees where down everywhere along side the road...I guess due to ice storms.

Nice ride report, and nice pic's (for a phone cam).  Wow...  Still got snow?  Things are greener than that, here in Wisconsin  Wink

What kind of 'fork deflectors' are those?  Me like  cooldude

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...

I bought at a Motorcycle swap meet. I  think they are for a Harley, don't know what model. I bought the fork clamps and just made them fit. Had to do a little drilling, cuttin, hackin to make them fit right.
