live in the northeast.  what viscso is recommended.  also, what brand that doesn't affect clutch performance

I use amsoil 10w30/30HD diesel oil.

The owners manual has some good guidance for what to look for in an oil. You could also stop by a bike shop and ask, they should be able to tell you

New Hampshire here and I use Mobil1 SAE 10W-40 MX4T full synthetic motorcycle oil   (Stated to have Optimized Wet-Clutch Performance), no clutch slippage issues, under heavy load/acceleration.
