RA's is short for Royal Ambassadors. RA's is a mission organization for boys 1-6 grade. I joined RA's 50 years ago. Stayed involved till about 14 years old. Got out of church, went astray for 8 years and turned my like over to God in Oct 76. Been involved as a RA leader off and on since then. Led a campout this past Fri. & Sat. with 38 men and boys. Great camping weather, food, fellowship and activities. At the Fri. night bonfire devotion we were challenged to be a straight arrow. One that God can use to hit the target. Sat. morning we were challenged to share God's love by acting when he speaks by going out of our norm to help someone in need. Every one of the participants took the challenge. Praise God.

We had several activities for the group and had a blast. By far, the favorite was crawdad hunting. We never made it far enough upstream to find em but had fun trying. The stream was very clear and cold. My feet were numb and happy to return to the warmth and comfort of socks and shoes.

BTW, I got to ride my bike there and back. On the way home I stopped in Ozark for the crawdad festival. There was only one vendor selling them and there was a long line and wait. So I passed.

Sunday, Anita and I got up early, loaded the bike and 4-runner to go on a prayer ride across Henry County, AL. We go to Bethlehem Baptist and I'm the disaster relief coordinator for Judson Baptist Association, (Henry County). God had laid it on my heart to do a prayer ride visiting each of our churches and praying for them. Three things he had me pray about: Revival and reconciliation, jobs and the economy in Henry Co. and to challenge our people to express God's love through an act of love by going out of our norm and helping someone in need.

Another lady, Cynthia, showed up to help. She is a member of CMA but doesn't have a bike or someone to ride with. She just loves motorcycles and the Lord. She initially rode with Anita and then Anita ahd her ride with me most of the rest of the day. We started at 1st Headland at 7 AM and wound our way east and west going from south to north and ending at Judson Baptist Church at 7 PM. We only rode 146 miles but took till 8:30 PM to arrive back home. We would stop and pray at each church, about 25 in al, for about 20 minutes. We were able to meet some of the members of these churches as they were arriving or leaving their services. At Balcum, a friend greeted us, we had prayer then after we had finished the prayer, he confirmed our mission. The prayer we prayed was exactly what God had laid on his heart for his sermon. At Newville Baptist, we were able to join their service and the sermon was exactly what our mission was. Amazing how God works.

Something I'm trying to learn to do is when God speaks, act. And take the time it takes to do what God has spoken.

Wow, what a weekend, what an awesome God.

Freedom will ultimately cost more than we care to pay but will be worth every drop of blood to those who follow and cherrish it.
