OK, I know there are a few special Honda tools for things like the forks. I know that most things can also be done without the special tools.

With three of these in the stable now it is starting to make sense to get the special tools, but I was wondering if there is a quick list somewhere? Rather than getting them one at a time (and waiting on shipping to get a project done) I'd like to go ahead and acquire what I can.

I can't think of all of them, but here are a few of them.

Swing arm tool
Fork tool
Clutch basket tool

You decide what you want to buy......

It might be hard to find "a place" to buy the special tools.

I got special tools for the swingarm, steering head, wheel bearings and stuff... I used the manual
to find the part numbers for the tools, and used google to find someone that had the tools... nobody
I found had them all, so I ordered from several sources. Some came pretty quick, some took a while
(more than a month) to trickle in. Most didn't come from Honda Motorcycle places, but from Honda
boat motor places...

I changed out mine and Stanley Steamer's wheel bearings without special tools (a big punch works to
get them out and a big socket works to get them in), and my wheel bearings are still good after
30K, but the special tools look like they'd do the job a lot more handily...
