After a month of working on it, almost there. The last part, the u-joint will be here Wed. Replaced every wheel bearing, seals front and rear. Adjusted valves, new tires, brake pads. flushed and filled final drive. Just generally went through the whole bike front to rear. All the damaged parts have been replaced with new. even changed oil, filter and the air filter. I am going to try to make Leesburg,Fl Bikefest  Sat. I am going to take it slow and easy for a while. I am still in the healing process, but a whole lot better than I was last month.  But I will be ready for Inzane.

Great news Bill (both you and the bike).

Believe my U-joint just failed yesterday.  Marvelous!

I did a preemptive change on the u-joint, 65,000 miles still felt all right. Just changed it to avoid having it go out on a trip some where.

If you work on your bike all the way up to the last second - don't forget to take your lift adapter off!

Knees are still pretty tender, I guess the left arm gives me the most trouble, screwed up a few tendons and still have about 60% strength, feels like some thing is stretching when I extend if full. Ribs still tender, but not going to stop me from riding, sucks being 66, takes a while to heal up.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

We have the same flag on a air line hooked into one of the fire trucks. Couple years ago our chief rolled out with the hose and air comressor still attached to the truck!  2funny Caught the edge of the garage door and sling shotted around the front of the truck, all infront of our township trustee, whom we get our money from!
