I ain't not no expert, but if that's for both sets (2 bikes) it sounds like a good deal to me. Never had a bike-bike setup, but did have a rider-passenger thing that was a waste of money....for us anyway. Chatterbox I think it was. YMMV.

Thumper has a scala that he shares with me. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Very inconsistent.

I have the scala rider Q2 MultiSet. Rider to passanger and Rider to another bike (I have not tried this). to 65 MPH it is great. Using on half helmet. Full face would be near perfect. Cell phone pretty good, MP3 input is nice, but the radio is useless. The new units they now sell is the scala rider G4 PowerSet. That would be the set for bike to bike. We turn off the voice activation on windy days or above 65 MPH. I paid less than $300 online. Gil

bought our brand new Q2 multiset (2 complete sets) on ebay for $252 last August. That included free shipping and no tax. $300 is too high. The G4 is the newest and is stereo bluetooth. I would opt for the G4 instead. If it's $300 for the new G4 multiset, then that is a great deal.

I have the team set, I like it, it works well for rider to passenger like it was designed. The phone bluetooth works very well, people are surprised that i am on a bike when I tell them, I wear a 3/4 helmet with a full drop down shield most of the time. I think I paid about $200 for mine. I have never used the bike to bike set up so I can't answer that.
I did have one issue with the passenger unit not starting up, a call to Scala took care of that, sent it in and they sent me a new one within a week. Jim

I don't have that brand, but the set I used worked on battery power of course, and the battery didn't last as long as the ride . We went to a J & M CB2003 DU setup. No battery issues now.

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice --- as it turned out the guy closed his booth at Bike Week last night before we got the cash from the Ugly Teller and made it back over to him --- so this morning I did some searching online --- and found on EvilBay that we could get the Q2 setup for about $50-$75 cheaper then he quoted us --- and the new G4 powerset for just a bit over the price he was selling us the Q2 set. So I ordered Kendall & I a new Scala Rider G4 Powerset today -- now I can sing to my sweetheart as we roll down the road!! He'll be so happy - he always laughs & smiles when I sing to him

And I have such a good voice...........
