For you that have installed a Pingel valve, do you use just the o-ring that was on the tank, just the plastic washer that was supplied with the valve, or both? Thanks Dean..

ditto, and i also had to replace that first section of fuel line from the petcock to the T fitting from the hinda silicone hose to a real rubber hose.(i used 5/16th) cause the honda hose wouldnt seal on the pingle nipple

Use a small hose clamp, the screw type and there will be no problem.
Actually doing it this way makes it a simple operation when times comes for removing the hose.
The hose just slides off cleanly.

Or attach a chrome Stebil Horn...thats how I covered the hole left by switching to a Pingel...these things are handy to scare Vultures off the road way ahead of you.......scare people that are texting while driving good enough that the phone gets tossed into the back seat, and definetly the primary purpose, if someone is trying to occupy the space you are already in, this horn WILL MAKE THEM STOP and reconsider their move!!!!!!

Mine is mounted in the same place ChrisJ's is and he's not lying about scaring vultures with it. I was on a country road when I saw buzzards in the road about 40-50 yards ahead. Tapped the horn and they took off like I fired a gun. Marty
