Was just looking at the Events information on the main page and I don't see anything about CBR/HRSI. Just wondering if this event will happen in 2010. Been to the last 3 and have had a great time each time .... good weather, great ride, excellant food and great fellowship.

That would be a shame. Is Doc tired of the hassle? I can only imagine the work that goes into planning and organizing a ride like this, so I certainly wouldn't blame him. I would really miss it, though.

It is with great regret that I announce that there will  NOT   be a CBR this year.

It has been a GREAT run.

Lady Di and I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting this event in the past and have MANY great memories and great times.  But it is time to bow out on top and let another great event take its place.  There are reasons why we decided not to continue - NONE of which have any substance to them other than we felt that it was time for something new and to let something fresh take place.  And that it was a lot of work (WHEW!), kudos to all that host the VRCC rides.

I am heartened that  the Mothman ride will be held and hope that the fine riding in the area will draw a good turnout.

Best wishes to you all and ride safe on your travels!

Someone else might have answered this up in the link, but, NO, it will not happen.

Doc & Lady Di retired the CBR..........   It really got too big for 1 couple to handle....
