Does anyone know what would be involved in swapping in a gl1800 engine? Or if it would be possible to build a stroker motor with a gl1800 crank and connecting rods in a gl1500?

Both are just a couple wild ideas that popped into my head.

You want hp and speed?

Add a blower, lot of them on this board, Florida, oHIo and others around the US &  PIBIT in Toronto.............

You will have to get forged pistons for it, the stock ones are too soft...

Yeah, I kinda guessed that an engine swap would be more difficult than it would be worth. I'm just trying to think of something different to do. I thought if I could do a 1800 or a stroker and add a blower in top it would be ultra-nasty.

I personally would like to do fuel injection on my Interstate and eliminate those 6 pains in the ass sitting on their manifolds, but it would be very expensive.

Since I haven't seen his list....does that mean that Ricky-D is his favorite (top of the list) and I am the second favorite?  2nd place ain't too bad! coolsmiley

As most of you know the point I was making is that a forum is a place for discussion and new guy asks valid question, don't tell him to go do a search.  Make him feel welcome and try to answer his question or say nothing.  On some forums the search function does not work very well anyway. Be helpful and don't be a &^%$#2#/.
