Very cool, thanks!

I was most impressed with the BMW one.  More testing of the bike once put together.  Also, that painter robot is very cool...like something out of a science fiction movie.

I remember when the Ural first was unveiled in this country. I went down to Abbeyville, SC to where a dealer was located. He had been to the plant in the Ural mountains and watched them being built.  He had this home video playing of the assembly line. It was a rough chain bouncing around. Very low tech. as it swung there roughly an old woman with two paint brushes stepped up and free handed a double pin stripe on the tank. They were flawless despite the bumping around. she was the only one that could do the double pin stripe.

I was thinking about that the other day. I was reading about the Royal Enfield and the changes that they are making to the bikes. They have 2 pinstrippers, brothers, that work around the clock.

I wonder about the power test.  Is it full throttle on an engine so new?  I wonder if every motorcycle goes through the power test.

They have a RPM limit on them, that is one of the reason they have the Micor code, so the computer knows how high to let it rev..........      One of the times I was in Nebraska at the Kawa plant I think 6,000 R's was all they put it to.

Don't hold me to that as my rememberer is about 1/2 flake(ied) (new word) out.
