We lost everything over here, but nobody was hurt - and that is the main thing. I really do think this is going "to be our finest hour!" We are going to come to together as a team and make it through this trying time. Bad thing is that it sounds like they are going to increase our work schedule as cost cutting measure (save a round trip ticket per year) by putting us 35-35.
BUT, my hitch has not NEARLY been as bad as my wife's!

She said that she gets scared the first week I am gone so she nails the windows and double locks the french doors - well, when you do, you can open the door from the inside, but not from the outside.....Yep, I guess you know where I am coming from....she goes out to frisbee the nutdog and yep, she is locked out. Now, Red is only knee high to gnat anyway and has a bad knee. To keep the nutdogs in, our gates, etc., are made to keep critters getting from the back yard - out, so she has to get a chair and keeps going around the fence yelling for help for 1 1/2 hours until the neighbor hears her and lets her out and takes her over to the daughters to get her spare key.
Then, the next morning, she is cleaning her breakfast dishes and she is rinsing grits off her top denture plate and drops it - yep, right in the disposal with it running. She said that she spent hours with a fingernail file filing it down so she could get to the dentist. Where is Doc Moose when you need him!

But I am OK, she is OK, family is OK, Nutdogs are OK and my good friend Smokin'Joe seems to be OK.....
Life is good - cause ya know, family and friends are Ok, I am going to try and get some wind this time in, and ya know, "NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!"
