Finally got the adapter and stebel air horn mounted like I wanted. Took some pics during the install and thought I'd share them in case someone was interested.

Cut up an old plastic mudflap and some left over neoprene rubber from the saddlebag install and put it all together to protect the horn and adapter from any stones, mud, etc.

And yes it is still LOUD !!!

That's a great job...

I have one of those lift adapters... I think it is supposed to work with quad horns, it looks like it will be
close...

That'a a great idea on stebel mounting.  Where did the adaptor come from?  Is it one of the eBay models?  Love these ideas from the board.

Very nicely done!  Any idea if that particular lift would work with Calif. Evap Canister in the way?

Just take it off and plug the lines.

Mike, do you know if the spoonland adaptor will work with Big BF's quad horns?

The Spoonland D00d doesn't make them anymore (or didn't when I looked a little over three
years ago).

I got a Spoonland "type" adapter, the red one from eBay, and it works great with a quad horn.

I don't think the "Spoonland" adapter or anything similar is meant to be put on the bike permanently.  Some people on this forum will attest to that as they (adapter) have fallen off and nearly killed the rider. If you want a permanent one go with the one I mentioned.

The more I see this stuff..............I will make this offer, If you send me these type mods. I can draw on cad (autocad 2002) and "GIVE" you a copy. You pay shipping both ways and I will make the drawing for you. Then this drawing can be retained for anybody thats wants to build or have built one for themselves. Like I said, I will provide the cad service for free, yes free. If it gets to be to much, then someone will need to buy me a cold beer down the road. I have been a toolmaker and designer for 30+ yrs. "so I b qualified".........LOL
