Hello all, I bought cobra 6/6 pipes when I bought my bike in 1998. I cut the ome pipes and now I wish I hade my stock pipe back on. I'am not going to say who is not liking the old cobras but it is time to quit it down. nice while it lasted. any good used one out ther. looked at ome ( ? ) if still avalibile. ouch,   a set of new OUCH! any ideas, TIA.  Oh I built the manometer. It work good, took a little bit to get my screw driver / me to work right, but sweeet. thanks to the man who thought of that.  Undecided Roll Eyes

Stock (OEM) pipes are regularly available on the classifieds and on eBay.  Expect to pay around $400 for a excellent, unmolested set.  Lesser conditions may run a bit less.  Terry

on some other sites people are using http://www.sheffield-pottery.com/SUPERWOOL-607-HT-BLANKET-8-lb-1-p/tcsw607ht.htm  to rebuild their mufflers.  for the cobras the baffles have no wrapping at all. wrapping will really quiet them down.
there are others on this site that have done this. a search or archive search should bring up the posts.
the search function is your friend or 1fastbob  Grin will do the search for you since your a newbie.

its OEM not ome for future ref.   cooldude

I got a set of mint stock exhaust for a CT with the triangle tips.  Also, three sets of extra tips I am willing to part with.

Don't forget to call "Pinwall"!!!  They usually have about anything you might want and at very reasonable prices.
