....oh yeah. ...guess 10 daze of beautiful weather we were bound to get .....one day of Hell.....and yesterday was our day.....got caught in a hellacious rainy/windy/lighting storm.....but percivered...we were determined to make some time.....cruising along at about 75 miles an hour...went to pass a semi....just about to pull in front of him...looken in my side view mirror at his big ol shiny grille bout 30 feet behind us...hit the white stripe in the road.....wet white stripe...and a nice lil slick patch of that liquid tar they put down to seal cracks...all of a sudden bike goes into a high speed wobble....immediately direct my attention back to the handle bars which are now wobbling back and forth big time...hold em as tight and firm as I can and in the blink of an eye come right back out of the wobble.....then....bout 20 seconds later a streak of white light comes shooting down from the sky....hits the telephone pole about 25 feet away from us on the side of the road...everything goes into slow motion....one transformer at the top of it burst into flames...then the second on on it bursts into flames....and I feel this slight ..*tingle*....shoot up my right arm....thats right....I got ZAAPPPPEDDDD !!!!

.......talk about ....seeing the light ! ..  Evil

....had to pull of the interstate and collect my thoughts after that one.....but we still got in another 80 miles or so.....got stuck in Florence Kentucky for the night....(no...we didnt order pizza).....Sunday morn...blue skies....were headed out right now....headin for the Hinter Land...

.....stay tuned..  Cool

Watch yourself Timbr!  Rain's bad enough, but lightning?!  Time to take a break under cover!

Hey Timber you might think about checking into an emergency room or your local Doctor for an EKG.

The juice that you recieved could have caused and imperceptable rythm change in the ole ticker.

Just a thought.

Big Al

Glad you made it.

Glad to hear you made it safe. Alot of storms so far today but with breaks of sun, all headed north into MI. Al, I bet the high speed wobble sent him into a irregular beat and the lightning bolt set it right.  Wink

JEEEEZUSS!  I agree with Al, go to your Doc and tell him what happened and see if he recommends anything!  Probably nothing but a ounce of pervetion saves a pound of the ole cure buddy.  Glad you made it home safe.  See you in June or July or maybe even May if I'm headed that way.
