2014 Valkyrie 1800

Seminole, Florida

« on: April 25, 2010, 03:19:38 PM »

Thought about riding to Leesburg Bikefest for about a second. Nope, rather ride with friends than deal with miles of "bikers" and port-o-potties and parking miles from the event. Don't leave my bike out of eye shot anyway.
I'm a truly lucky man, good friends, great wife, fantastic Birthday ride for me. (almost 50-ish). We met for breakfast, thank you Jerry for picking up the tab, it was delicious. Then rode 11 hours of beautiful back road scenic Florida to one of my favorite ride destinations. Sleepy Hollow, in Floral City Florida.
Ron, with one of his Valkyrie's

Jerry, with one of his Valkyrie's (the only one that runs)

Lisa's new bike, nice Yamahauler with lot's of chrome goodies and new seat added to. Pretty much her maiden voyage on this bike other than around town. Boy that girl can ride cooldude

Ron and Diane

Finally reach Sleepy Hollow, always plenty of good shaded parking under the huge oak trees. Keeps the seats cool for the ladies. (and me)

Andrea and Lisa cruzin the vendors, we were lucky enough to find a real nice guardian bell for Lisa's new bike.

The scenery at this place is some of Florida's finest, surrounded by beautifull country and waterways,

Of course nice specimens of Florida's Cypress trees

Airboats and bike's, in and out of here all day long.

They also have a band going all day

I really had a great time, good ride, good times, great friends! Thanks guys for a memorable Birthday cooldude
Almost forgot, there were some cool bikes there, yes other than Valkyries. I really liked this knucklehead sidecar, he said he's got two others.

Soft spot in my heart for Cream & Yellow, wish my Valk were these colors, classy and different from all the black bikes.

Then down the road to my favorite little Italian restaurant

For some much needed re-hydration and killer food.

Hi honey, what do you mean I've been gone all day, It's only been 11 hours? (so far)

Lisa looks good on her new bike, sounds better than saying her bike looks good on her? You know what I mean Jerry, looks like she's eye-ballin your Valkyrie Shocked Maybe that's what she really wanted Roll Eyes

Thank you all for a great Birthday ride! cooldude
