And I ain't lyin' - that is for sure and for certain.

Been groovin' with the nut dogs and even got a few miles of wind today - just to charge the battery ya know.  I did have to wait for Red to get home from work so I could jump her off - the bike that is.

Ol' Red is trying to talk me into going on a ride - says I am crazy if I don't.  Her quote just a minute ago was, "How long have you been working?  If you don't take a ride, you are crazier than a june bug"  (And that was a quote).

So, I don't know, 'cause I only have one weekend off and it's back to Bawanaland again for 5 weeks.  I know I got some honey do's to do (Gotta get things done), but also don't be surprised I reckon if I show up somewhere.  Depends on how much Red nags me to hit the road.

Until then, I get to sit back with the apple of my eye and sing "our song" - you know, the one that is near and dear to my heart.  The one that when you hear it on the radio makes you think of your apple dumplin'.........in spite of yourself.

I sure do love that Red of mine - yes sir.......

In spite of ourselvespowered by Aeva

Glad you finally made it out of the volcano dust, Strider. Was your return home delayed by that? Sorry to hear you only get one weekend. Red sounds like a great lady. Hope to meet her someday  coolsmiley

Welcome Home!!

Not long enough to ride West --- but would sure have a big plate of Chicken & Dumplins --- or maybe home made Green Chili --- or some good ol BBQ Ribs awaiting when you got here!!

Don't know how you do it Brother --- we miss you like Crazy --- but are certainly glad to hear you're back home safe again!

I know the answer --- but you know me I have to ask ...

Tucumcari?  May 29th - 30th?  Bill from Blue Swallow said "I'd rather Strider & JPs room sit empty then to chance selling it out and him needing a room"  ---

we miss you brother --- as do many other fine people.   Undecided
