Hi All,
After waiting for three weeks for an opening, Bruenhilde is going to the dealer to have the starter repaired. The primary gear is missing a few teeth and the case will have to be opened to replace the gear and the starter drive. I was looking at one of the new Interstates and offered to trade her in for it and when they gave me their offer for the difference in price, I SHOUTED "  you got to be out of your mind". Their price for her would not even buy the rear box and tires from her. What I am going to do now is absolutely run the wheels off her around  the hills of eastern Ky-wv-va-nc-tenn and anywhere else she takes a notion to take on some wind.
Will update as soon as she gets out and is ready to ride-ride-ride and ride some more. Again, THANKS TO EVERYONE for all the help in informing me as to the best avenue for bringing her back to life, after all, she has only been driven by me 325 feet.  Hardly got the tires dirty or even wet from the driveway to the barn.
