Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

« on: April 27, 2010, 05:00:04 PM »

Since I don't have a cage anymore, got up this morning and, ummm, needed to make sure my battery stayed charged....yeah, dat's it, battery charged....well certainly......

So, I had to go and talk to the house finance dude cause he said I could lock in at a way lower rate, lower my payments and pay off my house by the time I retire....Ok......

So's I goes and talks to the finance dude on Traveler - which is about as much fun as a prostate exam.  The guy is sitting at a desk twiddling his thumbs when I walk in and they guide me to a room, where I place my helmet on the desk, and I sit there waiting for 15 minutes.  I was just reaching for my helmet to walk out when he walked in....oh well, like I said about as much fun as a prostate exam or a used car salesman.

So, after that fine time, I decided some coffee would be good.  Off to the Community Coffee place....

For some cappuccino and a blueberry muffin....Yep, life is good.  (OK, here is the food shot)

After I finished, I saw some sparrows eating crumbs at the table next to me.  I pushed my plate over and whistled and sure enough, they came over and dug on what was left.  Yep, life is good.

Then I swung back to the house to register for Cheaha.  Made a post on the board and back into the wind for about 100 miles or so.

Made it to the T-ball park just in time.....Yep, life is good.

What was I doing at the T-ball park?

Watchin' the youngest grandbaby play T-ball of course.  A natural I tell ya!

I seriously think he pointed before he batted on where he was going to knock it out of the park at....

And man, does he have the look for outfield or what?????

HEY BOY!!!! SPIT THAT CHEWIN' BACCY OUTTA YOUR MOUTH SON!!!!!!

A natural - a real natural!!!! Life ain't good - it's GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Hey, now dig this.  Red was telling me that she had praised the older g-baby for his basketball playing and he looked at her and she said that he told her in all seriousness...."Grandma, sports are ok but it is my academic studies that are the most important since I want to grow up and be a Vet."

Dat's my boy!!!!!!!!!!  Like I said, life ain't just good - it's great!!!!!

Good looking grandkids.  Sounds like great attitudes for starting off in life with also.

Looking forward to seeing you again, Brother Strider.

Lyn-Del, Wizard and I are headed over your way en route to Cheaha in the morning.  Still remembering that nice ride up the Mississippi and Natchez Trace last year.  That was one, sweet, peaceful, pleasant ride.
