Boogie" in Lawrence County.
It ain't free,...gotta be an ABATE, AMA, or MRF member to get in.
But it is one hell of a party. And entrants are encouraged not to be shy,....they encourage festival goers to "
party naked".
More fun than a barrel-o-monkeys.
Boogie has never interested me for some reason. I believe its about the same time as Wetzel in Van Wert Ohio. all my friends who have attended both have put Wetzel on top. They usually have the big name bands also, Ted Nugent, foreigner, Tesla, etc. Boogie I'm told is to 'clickie'. Wetzel has a far more party atmosphere, inwhich everything goes also.
A few gangs use it as their yearly rally. Never had a problem tho. Kit & I will be there in July. It'll be her 1st time. She'll fit right in!
