And then goes away.  cooldude

Weather coming in but you folks know I am NOT a fair weather rider.  Heck, I don't care - always felt like a little rain saves me a bath.  Sure wouldn't be the first time Traveler got washed by riding in the rooster tail of an 18 wheeler ya know.  I just gotta love that wife of mine.  I just walked in the kitchen and she said, "Well, you can stay home and know you are not going to get wet or you can ride, get wet if it so happens and have a good time - choice is yours."  You gotta love that philosophy. So, looks like I am gonna be driving in a wind blow I reckon tomorrow - oh well, pretend it is a twisty and just lean.....

Then it looked like tomorrow would be the only day the boyfriend of my daughter would be in town to sign over the papers for my cage that my wife gave him.  There went Cheaha.  Well, it doesn't look like he is going to be back from the job tomorrow and my wife has power of attorney for me anyway if I am in Africa - so it's back on.

Cleaning up Traveler today - not a deep clean, just getting the top layers of funk off and notice my tag expired in August - OF LAST YEAR.  This is at 2:00 in the afternoon and usually DMV has a line that takes a half a day to get through.  Well, I figured, there goes Cheaha.  Rode Traveler to the DMV and I was the second person in line - 30 minutes and I am out of there.  Whooo-Hoooo!!!

Checked the skins and that is the only thing I am going to be sweating.  Gonna leave out and hope I got another 1200 miles in the rear.  That Bridgestone Battleaxe has been to Maine to eat a mud bug, all around Virginia, up to Canada and back and then up to Minnesota and back.  So, I figure what the heck - it is almost equal with the wear bar so it may make it.  That is the only thing that will turn me around - will just have to check it when I get gas.  Heck, I bought the front E3 in Colorado Springs going on 3 years ago on the way to Tucumcari, so it has a mile or two on it, but I figure it will make it no sweat - just gonna be sweating the rear.  Didn't have time to get to Hard6 and get new skins by the time I decided to head towards Alabama tomorrow.

So, gonna ride out in the morning about daylight and head up towards that way.  Should make good time since it looks like I will have a 30 mph tail wind for most of the way.  Early Bird, hold that bed for me - I should be there.

Cheaha BABY!!!!!!!!
