Update on the situation I posted about with my neighbor:
CSM Moore(Cliff) is recuperating (can you believe it) in a nursing home in Lebanon, Mo. He's as happy as can be expected and giving the nurses hell, despite his neck traction thing he's got on. I was able to get his wife in to speak with social services and they will soon be living together in the assisted living facility attached to the nursing home. I think this is the best possible outcome for everybody and way way more than I could have hoped for. I think the prayers did the trick. Thank you all!
Incidentally, I just become the proud owner of a 17 year old miniature weiner dog(Cliff's dog). My 120lb Ridgeback was actually scared of it when I brought it home.
