Author Topic: Thinking about cannibalizing my Viking Exhaust. Anyone want the headers?  (Read 1546 times)

Thinking about cannibalizing my Viking Exhaust.

Anyone want the headers? I might consider selling the headers only. Well maybe the baffles too since I'll have no need for those either.

Reason: The cans are nearly rusted through towards the outlets [within 8" of] in a couple of spots each.

I reinstalled the OEM exhaust and am quite happy with it. Except I would like to lengthen the tips with salvaged extensions from the good end of my Viking cans and be able to use my Rytek tips again. I'm being cheap. I don't see a need to buy AirFlow extensions when the Viking cans will suffice very well and I couldn't in good conscious sell the rusting cans.

The rust is due to winter start-ups and condensation sitting towards the outlets.

Anyway, just spent a little time in the man-cave pondering a few things and had this thought.

There all in almost new condition and would look great if someone has the ability to construct slip-on cans or has a need to replace their Viking Headers.

I had a set on my first Valk. I have a set of 2bros 6x2 pipes on the Valk I have now. I believe I could get a pair of slip ons made by a welder friend of mine and put them on my wifes Valk.

Thanks

I made adapters for mine LONG ago. I'm running Viking headers, and glass packs.
