I just bought the Kuryakyn Chrome Transmission covers.  Angry

The bracket that goes on the master cylinder side prevents the master cylinder cover from being removed because it just about rests on the top of the cover. Also,, it's being one hell of a PIA trying to line up the new bracket and the master cylinder bracket together in order to get the bolt back in. I can see how the original master cylinder cover is not used with these new tranny covers, but is this the normal setup with the cap to the MC being blocked by the additional bracket? If so what a pain it'll be to add brake fluid in the future! Am I missing something here??????  tickedoff

Yup. but how often do you need to do anything with the reservoir.  The only time mine comes off is when I put new pads on.

I have them on all of our Valkyries. Can get the master cylinder covers off any of them without a problem. The trick is to use a long screwdriver to get the Phillips screws loose. Afterwards, remove the cover and then the diaphragm. There is enough clearance to slide the pieces between the reservoir and the bracket if done individually - but not together.

Thanks guys. The pictures you posted  just verified that I wasn't doing something wrong. The manufacturer really should have taken access to the master cylinder into consideration and designed the bracket differently. Poor design.
