I wish somebody would invent another way to change the gears on my Valk so I could leave my foot on the highway bar and keep that cool air going up my britches leg!

Anyone else?

Check out air shifters.  Push a button and you can shift up or down.  I believe Pingel makes one.

Thanks! Interesting. Expensive, but interesting.
Maybe a cord tied to the shifter and frame for up shifting... I could reach down with my left hand and give a tug at the proper time.

You could build a shifter lever to run up by the tank and shift without the clutch.

Suicide Shifter

Might be difficult to clear the valve cover though.

I love my forward controls, they do just what you want... regular controls are still there just like normal.
If you try them, get the "old style" (unless you have an Interstate)... much harder to drag... I've never
dragged mine... Frank Smoak dragged his...

Fudgie,

I could have gone all day WITHOUT the mental image of you riding with crotchless pants.
