I have seen nice clocks, thermometers and compasses that handlebar mount but cannot find an altimeter. Any one know where I might get one?
Thanks!

Can't quite see how this one mounts, but a little fabricating if all else fails should do it:

Looks like some promising leads here too:

Also, if you're just after functionality instead of aesthetics, most better GPS can give you altitude readings too (My Zumo 550 does, I loved watching it on my ride across Colorado)

Yea Serk I've been to both them sites, was hoping to find a handlebar mounted one. I will try Aerostitch and see if anything there. I have a GPS but it does not have that function, guess I have a cheaper version.
Thanks guys!

I have a DeLorme handheld GPS that mounts on my bike with a RAM mount which is a temporary solution for a GPS until I get a Garmin 765T with a RAM weatherproof case.

There are several watches like this: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0050325626812a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntk=Products&QueryText=altimeter&sort=all&Go.y=8&N=0&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form23&Go.x=18
that give lots of info. I have mine strapped to the handlebar clamp. I just use a cheap watch with no altimeter. I've seen them for less than $40.
Here's one for $18 with free shipping.  http://cgi.ebay.com/6-1-Altimeter-Barometer-Thermometer-Compass-Weather-/350349997973?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51927cb795
