When is your surgery at Vanderbilt. I know it is sometime soon. I will in Nashville to visit my Heart doctors on the 20th. If you are there then I will look you up.
Good luck with the surgery & I'll send prayers your way..and to the nurses who have to take care of you... 2funny

Yes Al Here.

Surgery has been moved to University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Doctor Summet Sharma is the Surgeon and he is actually a Pediatric Cardiologist.

Or as he puts it a glorified plumber. His words not mine.

0545 hrs. ZULU Time on 5-12-2010.

In the femoral artery and up the old circulatory system to the left atrium.

Measure for size wiht the angio balloon and then insertion of gore device. If it fits then reverse order.

if not , then yank that one out and replace with different size.

If that does not work , we all break for lunch, Buddy's BBQ and then back on the table to finish

said procedure.

Overnight stay if successful, if not out the door to return another day.

Ain't life grand.

Big Al

And Thanks for the Prayers Brother I know you have beeen through much more pain than this and you are one brave man in my book.

PS He said I could not got  the Mouse's Ear for at least 24 hrs after the surgery.

Al, it's good to keep a sense of humor when you know it all going to be pointy things coming at you.  Shocked
