Just wondering if anyone has done it? Whats involved? Seat is to tight to the I/State tank. I have a tourer. Thanks

I haven't done the mod but I would say you would need to remove the cover over the nose ans trim the pan back some so it would clear the tank. Then re-attach the cover.

i have done it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! drill the rivets out of the nose,peel the foreskin and foam back and cut about an inch off the nose and reshape the dog ears on the seat. recover the nose and re-pop rivet the cover

Well, I did it. Not to bad of a job to do, turned out great.
I did what JR did. Hey JR, have you got your bike out yet or is it still mud season up there? We are planning on coming up there June after Americade. Hope to meet up with you and your wife and maybe ScudRunner?
