I've got a friend wanting to put a Lamonster 6 degree trigger wheel on. (he doesn't post here) computer illiterate.  He rode mine and liked the difference, I thought I remember hearing somewhere that folks had problems with these wheels due to the rounded contacts, instead of squared off contacts. I know Airlake was the way to go, no longer in production for the 6 degree wheel.
Does anyone know for sure or have first hand knowledge, or using a Lamonster? Any problems? Yes, It's a standard and not the Interstate.

That was only if you were going to use the dyna ignition as long as you use the factory ignition module there's no problem. Grin

If memory serves.

The distanc between the wheel and the pick up could be a problem if it was too big.

Here a few other options you may want to consider.

Read the link below for another trigger wheel option.   This eliminates any after market potential issues (but may introduce man made error so be careful  ??? ).  Instead of using the 6 degree layout, protractor and punch that Jeff talks about, i had another trigger wheel laying around that i matched up with the OEM used to determine how much to file off the key.  This will make more sense when you read the link below.

However with the ECT Timing mod in shoptalk, you can eliminate dealing with the trigger wheel altogether.

Just food for thought.   Smiley
