I have to commend Oklahoma City.  On their electronic billboards they are running something to this effect. "Share the road.  Be aware of motorcycles."  I saw it last weekend and again yesterday.  I suppose that it will run all month...JTL  cooldude

Fudgie,

Nothing has changed. We still have an unenforcable helmet law in MI.
The MSP have still not compiled a list of "approved hemets".
You could wear a "Hockey" helmet as long as it has a DOT sticker on the rear.
For years I've ridden with a bicycle helmet.

Must be nationwide.  California is doing the same thing. Did it back in February also. 'bout time.

I'll look forward to it.  Still getting used to the area.  I just moved up here, sort of, in January.  I like it here, but until my house in Oklahoma sells, most of my stuff is still down there.  As soon as I get a place to park it, the Valk will get to come home with me.  I know Ravenwood.  I go past it about once a month.

Hats off to TN as well. Just heard on trhe radio a mother describing a women in a SUV hitting and killing her son on a motorcycle and all she could say was, " I didn't even see him" repeated that a few times and then statement about being watchful and looking both ways for motorcycles. Brought by the Governors Safety Board. Good Radio ad.  cooldude
