I've been looking for some new riding boots. The red wings normally wear aren't made any more it seems none of these boot makers have a good waterproof boot in a wide width.all the touring boots out there seem to only come in d widths. So what's the bigfoot rider wearing these days?

I wear Sidi boots and have EE width feet.  Fit great, waterproof, but they are pricey.

I have these: http://www.newenough.com/street/boots/waterproof_sport_street_touring_boots/sidi/sport_rain_motorcycle_boots.html

And these: http://www.newenough.com/street/boots/waterproof_sport_street_touring_boots/sidi/sidi_canyon_gore_tex_motorcycle_boots.html

PS, this IS the sandbox! Smiley

I would love a pair of sidis but the ones i've tried are way too narrow for my duck feet.

You didn't give size, but these closeout Danner's are great waterproof riding boots, and still some wide sizes left.

Not on closeout, but still great waterproof riding boots.

Herman's Survivors, you can get them at Wal-Mart and should run around $40-$50. cooldude

I wear 10 1/2 EEE and found the Herman Survivors fit me comfortably.  And the price is right and they are insulated and waterproof.  Very comfortable.  Wal-Mart - $50

You can't go wrong with Sidi. I got a smokin' deal on a pair last summer on Ebay. Try checking that out...

Rocky boots, been wearing them for 30 years now. For years they were the only insulated waterproof boot that came in black for uniform wear. I wear a 11EEE.

I just clicked on the lapolicegear linke and bought a pair of the hopefully-waterproof Danners... 9.5 wide was still clickable, and that's me... including shipping, a little over
70 bucks... also, Jess, the pant-cuff-tiedowns (I forgot what to call them) showed up, thanks!  cooldude

You won't be disappointed Mike, just keep them brushed off and the leather mink oiled.  My first generation Strikers ran me $160, so you got a great price too.  Comfort and function, both riding and walking.  Only thing, they are not resolable so no working in the back 40 in them.

The MEGA boots are Wide.  Not all Sidi boots come in the MEGA widths.  May still not be wide enough for duck feet though   Roll Eyes
