Need to buy a new cover for my tourer and have no idea what brand to purchase. My bike sometimes sits outside in the rain so I need a really good outdoor cover to pretty much cover the entire bike. Not looking for an cheap cover, I really want a quality cover. Please advise.
Also wheres the best deal to purchase. Thanks

Here's a good choice.  Size chart says XL for Tourer, and 2XL for Interstate.

Fighting the bottom elastic is a constant PITA, so a size up is a good idea (2XL), though the cover may touch the ground a bit in back.  Good price too.

best cover I have used so far. Blue fades less in the sun.

Not experienced with this one, but it sure looks good for out door storage (encloses the entire bike), the reviews are great, and under $100.

This is more then your suggesting, but it works extremely well as a portable garage.

I actually bought their first unit 10 years ago at a discount because it was one of their prototypes.

They're pricey, but you just pull onto the floor and draw the clam shell cover over it. Nothing touches the bike even in 60 mph wind storms. Internal moisture was never a problem in all weather conditions. The Tourer size fit my Tourer well with room to spare.

I just got one of dowco's top-of-the-line covers. It is well made and the best I've seen so far. You can find them cheaper elsewhere:

These are good.    My son uses one for his Chopper during the week.  Then the bike gets to set in the shop on weekends.....

+1 on the Dowco.  I've had mine for ten years and it shows no sign of wear.  It has a metalized bottom so your pipes won't melt it, although I haven't really tested that part.  It has a waterproof vent on top to let heat and moisture out.  It has grommets on the bottom so you can tie the left side to the right side from underneath the bike.  The bottom is also elasticized for a snug fit.  It has a large cotton like pad on the inside that completely covers the windshield to keep from scratching it.  I see now that they also make one that can be zippered on, which would improve what I've got, but, maybe you can tell- I'm not unhappy with mine.  http://www.dowcopowersports.com/products/motorcycle_covers/detail/detail.cfm?item=50004%2D02     PS  I only use mine for traveling; the rest of the time the bike's in the garage, if that makes a difference.

I have always worried the zipper model might scratch the paint on the back of the bike (as the wind and weather blew it around).
