What do you wear in the rain for your face? With the oem shield on we just wore a bandanna on our face and a bandanna/sock cap on our heads. It was fine. With the b'wing I get more rain in the face. A face shield is out of the question since we dont wear helmets. You would have a easier time getting Big Al to put on a CT then to get Kit to wear a helmet!  2funny We do have a novey skid lid tho, cant attach a shield.

I wear a . . . flip face helmet.

No real effective method without a helmet and face shield. I always carry one when traveling just for that purpose, it's the SAFEST method, and you don't get the stinging of the rain in your face to boot. Since you most likely have to carry a brain bucket anyway for some states with helmet laws, just make sure it has the ability to snap on a shield that comes down to the chin.

I use motocross goggles and a Banditos face mask. The mask isn't waterproof but I coat it with NicWax sealer every spring before a long trip.

Well thats the reason for the noveys. We use to carry the 3/4 with removable shield but it got to be a hassle packing them. Took alot of space.

I've taken the front brakes and rotors off my Valkyrie so I can show off my polished front wheel.  I have found that when stopping, the leather on my steel-toed boots wears out really fast, and then they just cause sparks instead of slowing me down.  What kind of boots have you found with a thick enough covering on the toe that they last longer than 3 or 4 stops?

Sorry for hijacking the thread.  Embarrassed

I suppose so....... but only if you want to breathe or see.   2funny

Seriously, safety issues aside, I don't know how to keep your head dry in the rain without a helmet.

Most other waterproof headgear tends to blow off over 20mph.

These are my only other ideas.   Smiley
