While watching tv last night I saw a political ad support Obama's Supreme Court nominee Kagan. If you didn't know better you would think she was running for office not facing Senate confirmation hearings for a life long appointment.

And I would not be surprised to discover the add was paid for (circuitously) with taxpayer funds (just like some other pro-oslama policy adds I've seen recently).
The US Supreme Court is the place for lifetime serving centrist constitutional experts, not people with political agendas who believe the constitution must be interpreted to advance a socialist agenda.

Gotta link Marty? Was it broadcast as an actual news story done by a news org?

Ya just didn't hear any conservative interest when the previous administration was indeed broadcasting fake news stories to further their own agenda. I know, why do I look back to Bush? Well, where was the outcry of conservatives during the last TWO terms of lies, deceipt, cronyism? Privacy rights went out the window, deficit spending like no previous administration, larger government, record job loss, recession, TARP funds,6 years of a rubber stamp congress, starting a war with the wrong country and the only stabilizing force (albeit a murderous dictator) in the middle east. I don't support everything that any administration does but it so amazes me that it is NOW that people have had enough and want change. By the way, what do ya think about the cozy arrangements the oil companies created with bush and cheney. De-regulate, let the market take care of it, let the industry monitor itself--So, how's that working out for the gulf coast right now?

CBS is a conservative news organization? Since when? Btw, thanks for the thread hijack. Marty

From your link:
"The White House today posted on its website a video allowing Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan to speak "in her own words" about her personal history and perspective."
It was posted to their own website, not propaganda shipped to news corps for broadcast as actual news.
BIG difference.
They are trying hard to define Kaegan before the anticipated wave of lies and distortions can take root.

All I heard was the news commentators talking about it this morning. I had to go looking for links for you but the fact that the Obama supporting press is ticked aobut it says something.
