hello
is anyone running the avon 200mm that would recomend this tire,
from what i have read this size is suposed to be used on 5.5 inch wheels

its the only 200/60-16 that jake wilson carries that i can find anyway
and the deals they are offering on avons is hard to pass up Grin

or should i just use the correct size 180/70

---
also i have a metlzer up front, any negatives of mixing them

Most try to stay as close to stock size as possible, event with the car tire. My Avon Cobras came in today, they seem to be a bit softer than the E3's that I purchased a month or so ago. It stated that the date of manufacture should be checked to see when the tire was made.

Avon Cobra Front 4709
                Rear   1110
Dunlop E3   Front 3409
                Rear   4609
Haven't mounted either yet, will have to wait until I use up some more rubber to compare them.

I ran a Bridgestone 200 battleax. Loved the tire, just didn't get much mileage out of it. The roads here in Mississippi eats tires pretty quick. At lease were I live.

Depends on which ct. I'm running a 460 compound ct and love it in the twisties. As for the E3 opposed to the Cobras. My IS had E3 when I bought it. The rear supped in the center and the front cupped on the sides. However, the Avons are a lot lighterm eaning less rubber. My mechanic/tire guy said you can run a flat E3 to the nearest help, not so with the Cobra. My rear Cobra seperated so I immediately went to a CT and haven't looked back. About 14k on it and @ 18 on the front Cobra.

I ran the dragon with both. I will say the 200 felt really good on the Dragon.

I'm using the Avon Cobra 200 on both my Interstates, and have been very happy with them.

Cobras or Battleaxes both have served me just fine.  I don't look for more than 10k mi and they both come in around that.
