What is the best way to break the bead when tire and wheel is still mounted on bike?  Can you cause any damage to tire? How easy does the bead release?

How difficult is it to seat the bead again?

Looking to install new valve stem.

I've done it twice....Get a couple large C-clamps and a couple 1x2 about 6 inches long ...Tighten down on the wood from both sides above the stem. When it breaks the bead replace stem. A jack to take the weight off will help it re-seal....I've got a good compressor and had no problem.
