While moving my bike around in the gargage i notice there is "play" in the bars when i pull them up.
side to side seems to be ok.
could it be the risers, steering nut etc?

Check the nuts at the bottom of the risers under the top triple tree. They could be loose. I'm thinking it takes a 19 mm wrench.

whew, thanks, glad it wasn't anything serious.
they were both "slightly" loose.
tightened them both up and walla, the play is gone.
