We are staying in Hurricane, Ut. for a few more days.  Don't have exact plans for next stop.  We went to Zion Nat. Park yesterday.  Beautiful place, awesome to use an overused word.  Anyone live in the area?  We have seen 4 Valks so far on our trip from Fl.

Ride into Zion at night and find somewhere safe to pull over. Turn your engine off and take a seat on a rock warmed by the sun. Wait for the night noises to slowly build to a crescendo.

Nice pics Thunderbolt.  Utah is a state I intend to spend more time discovering when I get the chance.  I have already seen a great deal of the state, however I have never made it to Zion National Park.  I have been told by a couple of natives that I work with that the town of St. George is really nice....which is right near Zion National Park.  Hopefully you got a chance to see it.

I live in northern Utah and make four or five trips to the sourthern regions a year.  It is truely a wonderful place to visit.  The scenery, beautiful colors, open space, and usually not to many people around.  Seems though, fortunately/or not, some of the best is off rhe beaten path or down long dirt rutted roads not suitable for our phat ladies.  If you get over to the Moab region there's Arches National Park and Canyon Lands National Park.  Moab is kind of a fun up beat kind of town, some really good food and fun night life, but still pretty laid back.  Bryce Canyon is another area you should pay a visit to, try to spend a early morning/sunrise or evening/sunset there, it's really beautiful.

Enjoy your time and if you are headed north around Salt Lake City, look me up, there's thing to see, places to ride around here as well.

Hey.... I live in central Utah (on Highway 10, north of I-70).

My 1999 Valk is supposed to be delivered today (just bought it from a guy in northern Utah).

So if you're in the area, let me know, drop by for a visit -- and maybe for a short ride.
